Back in 2016, the Narwal brothers, Krishan and Balram, started Friends Cafe in a rented spot. But, sometimes life throws curveballs, and they had to close it in 2021 due to lease constraints. But guess what? They didn’t give up!
In 2022, they bounced back with Black Monk Cafe, this time on their very own premises. They’re serving up a delightful fusion of North Indian and Chinese cuisines.
Krishan Narwal, who’s got 6 years of hospitality experience in Australia, is the driving force behind their vision of creating a warm and homely dining experience.
They’re even using ingredients from their own dairy and fields!
Their dream is to expand Black Monk and make it a trusted brand with more restaurants in the years to come. Cheers to their perseverance and delicious food they have in store for us!
